The Southern Cross Care SALA art projects are a celebration of art and creative expression at any age, encouraging a more positive image of residential care and aged care in general within our South Australian community.

This year's theme is 'Community Hive' where resident artists living in Southern Cross Care Residential Care homes have explored a range of mediums to create beautiful ‘hives’ of colour and texture. Artists' family members, friends and Southern Cross Care employees have also been involved in embellishing the hexagons to make up these vibrant, collaborative art works.

While this year’s launch events will look a little different as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, family and friends will be able to admire their loved ones artworks online. Photos will be taken of resident and client’s art work and uploaded to Southern Cross Care’s Facebook page following the sites’ launch event.
