The Strength for life program promotes health and well-being amongst people over 50 through strength training programs run by accredited fitness providers.

Strength training programs have been shown to improve both the mind and the body enabling you to keep living the life you love.

Kate Kameniar, Organisational Wellness and Lifestyle Coordinator at Southern Cross Care says, "It is so important to maintain our strength and these classes are both a fun and effective way to do so."

These group classes run by a qualified instructor will help improve balance, alleviate effects of chronic conditions and improve walking.

When you join up you will book in for an initial consultation with a Strength for Life instructor who will develop a tailored strength and balance program. After which you attend a regular Strength for Life session with a qualified instructor.
