Archbishops residence

Beside the striking, modern Carmelite building in Myrtle Bank is the original residence of the Catholic Archbishop of Adelaide, which was commissioned by Archbishop John O’Reily in 1897. In 1935 the building was given to the Carmelite nuns. The roof has been refitted, the stone and bricks repointed and the beautiful historic building is a significant feature of Southern Cross Care's Myrtle Bank precinct.
