Our Residential Respite services are provided by a multidisciplinary team including Nurses, Personal Carers, Allied Health Professionals and more.
We have a philosophy of ‘doing with, rather than doing for’, with a focus on meaningful engagement and activities.
The staff in our Residential Care homes work as a multidisciplinary team to deliver care that is tailored to each and every resident. Our teams include Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses, Personal Carers, Allied Health Professionals, Wellness & Lifestyle staff, Chefs and Food Service Assistants, Housekeepers, Gardeners, Administrators and more. We also have dedicated pastoral care teams and volunteers who give their time to support residents in a wide range of ways. If you need to arrange specialist visitors, such as your doctor or an interpreter, we will support you in this as well.
Register through the My Aged Care portal to have an assessment of your support needs done by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).

The Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will visit you at home and talk with you to work out what your needs are, how you can best be supported and whether you are eligible for a place in an aged care home. After the assessment, they will decide whether you are approved for residential care and send you a referral code to give to your new provider.

We offer high-quality, person-centred Residential Respite Care in Adelaide, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Darwin - at all of our homes. Residential respite offers you or your loved one a temporary place in a Residential Care home, either on a planned basis or in an emergency. Residential Care is for older people who are no longer able to live safely and independently in their own home. It provides age-friendly accommodation, meals and activities, with care and support from qualified professionals 24 hours a day.
