Independence is the term used for non-clinical services which help you to remain living independently at home.

This includes Respite Care, either in-home or in our Dementia Respite Cottages, personal care and social support or community engagement. Transport is also included in this category.

Assistive technology and home modifications are other Independence services, although these are now funded through a specialised scheme with different funding levels that you may be approved to access.
