A Better Way to Retire

Janice Knight says there’s one word to describe living at Glen Woodley Estate Serviced Apartments, kind.

“I’m at home here and I’m really living here, I’m not just existing here,” Janice said.

“It means I can have my things around me, I can have visitors, my grandchildren can come to see me - and I can do that when I want to and how I want to.”

“The atmosphere throughout the place is just lovely, the residents are kind to each other and I don’t know how they spread it but the atmosphere is so nice.”

Another part that helps is knowing that while other people have different needs to Janice, she regularly sees the great length staff go to help every resident.

She catches a ride on the volunteer-driver golf buggy and is at Carmelite within a few minutes, ready to exercise and improve her health. 

Janice says she has already noticed an improvement in her lung capacity, strength and balance, and more importantly, has found the right balance in her retirement lifestyle.
