What is the Care Car program?

 

Our Care Car program gives older people an affordable, safe and age-friendly transport option to help them live independently at home. Supported by our Community Foundation and our corporate sponsor Altaira, the Care Cars are volunteer-driven to help ensure that service is affordable for clients who rely on it to get to and from medical appointments and so much more.

What we offer you

 

We provide modern, safe and fully-maintained vehicles and smartphones for easy navigation and communication with our support team. This role is a rewarding opportunity to connect with our clients while you provide a practical service that makes a difference in their lives, and we value the skills and experience that our volunteers bring to this role.
