The Internal Grants program is at the very heart of our Southern Cross Care Community Foundation, bringing new ideas to life across our community. The program received many wonderful applications this year and we are proud to announce the successful applicants.

Smart+Step - Gamified exercise to prevent falls

Game faces on! A high tech mat sends computerised prompts through exercises, boosting cognitive stimulation, tracking reflex times and dialing up the as residents race for the top score.
Get Up n Connect - Community engagement event

After moving to its new onsite location, the Men’s Shed will have new benches, racking, shelving and dust extraction, making this an inviting space and for other groups to come over and enjoy too.

There’ll be no stopping the music group when the new rhythm machine starts - a wonderful way the Village Players will bring people together to enjoy the music.
