The Southern Cross Care Difference

Our centres offer a wide range of services, varying from physiotherapy, diet and nutrition to occupational therapy, speech pathology and massage therapy, all conveniently located  together.

Each centre is fitted with a range of specialised exercise and rehabilitation equipment including recumbent bikes, seated elliptical trainers, handheld and strap on weights, balance boards, parallel bars and chi balls. The Health and Wellness Centres are run by our Fitness Coordinators who has completed their Certificate III in Fitness through the Australian Institute of Fitness.

Everyone is an individual, which is why our specialised therapists spend time with you and develop a program specific to your needs. The aim is to help you achieve wellness, address chronic health conditions and restore function following injury or illness.

As we take this ‘whole person’ approach your therapist may, in consultation with you, refer you to other members of our team to help you manage other needs.

Do you need a referral?

You do not need a referral to access our services. Just phone or drop in any time to make an appointment – we can assist you to complete the referral through the ‘my aged care’ website.
We also accept referrals from GPs, other health professionals and specialists, hospitals and aged care facilities.

In addition, we specialise in the provision of pain management and therapy following surgery or a car accident and we can also provide services through Extended Care Plans approved by your GP for chronic disease management.
