Better for Life in Country SA

Improve your health and fitness from home

Exercise in your own home

The Better for life in Country SA program has been specifically designed for people aged 65+ who live in regional and rural areas of South Australia. This exciting program will empower you to improve your health and fitness from the comfort of your own home. Work with our allied health professionals in a health program that fits your individual needs and goals.

What is Better for Life in Country SA?

Southern Cross Care works with the Country SA Primary Health Network to deliver this 12 week program of online exercise and health sessions with allied health professionals. The purpose of the program is to build strength, balance and confidence to keep you living at home for longer. Following an initial review and health assessment, participants take part in 12 weeks of personalised online exercise twice per week. The one-on-one and small group sessions are run by our qualified exercise physiologist and an assessment is conducted at the end of the program to see how participants have progressed towards their goals. A fee-for-service option is available for allied health services such as an Occupational Therapist, Dietitian or Social Worker to complement the exercise classes.
